Tom has been putting all the parts on the board, putting together the first prototype. There have been a few glitches but nothing major. Everything pretty much lines up—the 3d model is accurate (except for the motor width, which I fixed). Other problems can be fixed with a few nuts added as spacers. When the motors are turned on—that will be the real test.

I rewrote the arduino stepper library so it won’t block other functions. I also planned how to structure the data going into arduino. I think I’ll need to make a flash program that will calculate sequences that I can offload into arduino.

I’ve worked on my iphone app a bit too. I now know how to structure roshambooya.
